1. Website terms
By accessing or using Plunge Music, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. These terms cover the editorial pages, genre guides, project directories, account areas and artist resources made available through Plunge Music.
We may revise these terms when the site, the law or our operating practices change. Material changes will be reflected on this page, together with a new review date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from that point.
Information and availability
Our articles and guides are provided for general information and music discovery. We aim for accuracy, but do not promise that every page will always be complete, current or free from errors. Content should not be treated as legal, financial or other professional advice.
We may update, withdraw or restrict parts of the site without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will work on every device or browser.
External resources
Where editorial pages refer to external resources, those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A reference does not amount to control of or responsibility for an external service.
2. Accounts & submissions
Some areas may ask you to sign in or provide information. You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.
You remain responsible for text, images, audio, metadata and other material you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide that material. Do not submit confidential information, another person's personal information without authority, or anything that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.
When material is submitted for display or editorial consideration, you grant Plunge Music a non-exclusive permission to store, format and display it only as reasonably needed to operate and present the relevant site feature. You retain ownership of your original work.
We may decline, edit, restrict or remove a submission where necessary to protect the site, comply with law, correct misleading information or enforce these terms.
3. Acceptable use
Plunge Music is intended for lawful music discovery and editorial participation. You must not use it to:
- threaten, harass, deceive, impersonate or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
- publish unlawful, exploitative, invasive, defamatory or rights-infringing material;
- disclose another person's private or identifying information without permission;
- send spam, deceptive promotions or repetitive irrelevant submissions;
- upload malicious code or interfere with the security, availability or normal operation of the site;
- attempt unauthorised access to an account, system or restricted area;
- scrape, crawl or submit content through automated means where we have not expressly permitted it; or
- misrepresent your identity, affiliation, authorship or authority to submit material.
We may suspend access or remove material where we reasonably believe these standards have been breached. Serious or unlawful activity may be reported to the appropriate authority where required.
To report misuse, email info@plungemusic.com-uk.com with the relevant page, a concise explanation and any supporting context.
4. Copyright
The Plunge Music name, logo treatment, site design and original editorial material are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Unless a page says otherwise, content may be viewed for personal, non-commercial use but may not be republished, sold or materially adapted without permission.
Artist names, release artwork and other third-party material remain the property of their respective rights holders. Their appearance for identification, reporting or commentary does not transfer ownership to Plunge Music.
Reporting an infringement
If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, email us with:
- identification of the protected work;
- the page and material you believe infringes it;
- an explanation of your ownership or authority to act;
- a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised; and
- your name, email address and electronic signature.
Send complete notices to info@plungemusic.com-uk.com. We may request further information before acting and may contact the person who supplied the material.

Sharing and international handling
Information may be handled by essential hosting, email or technical service providers acting under appropriate instructions. We do not sell personal information. We disclose it where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
If information is processed outside your country, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to resolve a request, maintain security records or meet a legal requirement. Retention varies by record type; information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised where practicable.
Reasonable organisational and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No internet service can promise absolute security, so avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by email.

6. Cookies
Cookies are small files a website can save in a browser. Plunge Music may use strictly necessary cookies to maintain a session, remember a requested setting, protect forms or support account access.
We do not include advertising trackers on this page. You can use browser controls to remove or block cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent some account or form features from working correctly.
7. Your data rights
Depending on where you live and the circumstances of processing, you may have rights to:
- request access to personal information held about you;
- ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected;
- request deletion or restriction where the relevant legal conditions apply;
- object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing;

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will ask only for information reasonably needed for verification and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
For a dedicated data-protection route, visit the data protection page.
8. Contact & legal scope
For questions about these terms, privacy, acceptable use or copyright, email info@plungemusic.com-uk.com. Include a clear subject line and enough information for us to identify the relevant page or request.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Plunge Music is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general editorial material or from temporary site unavailability.
If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. These terms are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
